Unfortunately, facts do not matter to these people, as most IT departments are clueless about TCO.
The companies that switch to Mac either have smart IT people or have Mac / iPad using executives that push the IT departments to go Mac.

If anything I'm seeing that this will push resale value of iPhones up.
Of course it sucks, but I don't upgrade early so unless they increase the non early upgrade costs this won't apply to a lot of us.

Nothing quite brings the same joy to my heart as starting a render in FCP and having a look at Activity Monitor, and seeing a whopping two cores in use. Or having to export a QT file first because I can't send directly to Compressor.
Well to be fair, the camera manufacturers are twats for recording to a delivery codec in the first place
I agree 100% with both of your posts. It still bothers me that compressor is the only application that can make full use of both my Mac Pro�s CPUs.
And I really hate the look of low bitrate AVCHD but we have to work with it nonetheless.

Looks great, but as my main email account is not a .mac account and POP doesn't really do it for me, I'll only use it if they provide IMAP access.
The only real reason that I use .mac are its backup and synchronization features which are hardly worth paying $99 a year for. .mac still needs to come a long way to stay competitive and this is reasonable start, but a new interface is only that - a new interface. More space, more features and better functionality are the only way .mac will come out of the dark ages and join the rest of Apple's innovative, first-class products.

I am using an eMac G4, running 10.3.9, and I can't seem to download a single torrent.
Everytime a torrent starts, well.... it don't start, it says failed and stays on 0.00 and doesn't load or even start at all. Any way to fix this, how can I be able to download a torrent? I am trying to upgrade my 10.3.9 to 10.4 with a torrent file since i can't seem to find a disc for a cheap price. How can I download them?

I am all against this nostalgia gaming. U have so many great games available on the ipad or iphone that utilise their potencial, why would u wanr to play games that have 12 pixels running around? There isn't a universal yet; but you can run the 'application' in Rosetta (but not the screensaver, because Rosetta doesn't do screensavers,) or you could try downloading the source and building it yourself.
(Or, if you're REALLY adventurous, you could try running the x86 command-line Linux version...)

I think that it will be very popular this season. Here's why:

- It's small and cool looking.
